WHEN: Saturday, November 1, 2008
Registration begins at 8 AM
The Walk begins at 10 AM

WHERE: Dodger Stadium
1000 Elysian Park Avenue
Los Angeles, CA 90012

WHO: Anyone who wants to be a part of finding a cure for diabetes.

WHY: OVER twenty million Americans live with diabetes and it’s complications. Diabetes costs Americans $132 billion a year in health care expenses.

Insulin is only life support. It is not a cure.

HOW: REGISTER FOR THE WALK AT WWW.JDRF.ORG
Funds are raised by forming either a family or corporate walk team.
Walkers write a letter-writing campaign and ask friends, relatives and
co-workers to sponsor them for participating in the 5K walk.

GOAL: 18,000 WALKERS
$2.5 MILLION DOLLARS RAISED FOR DIABETES RESEARCH
