I have been with Roche Diagnostics for 11 years where I am responsible for the ACCU-CHEK brand of blood glucose monitoring products. Over the last few years, I have focused on helping healthcare professionals better connect with diabetes patients. I do not have diabetes myself, but as a caregiver for my mom and grandmother who do have diabetes, I recognize how challenging this interaction with healthcare professionals can be. Many understand the science of diabetes, but not the art. I’m interested in hearing from you how we can better help healthcare professionals understand the art of managing diabetes.
