1st Annual New England Diabetes Meetup

Please Note updated location. I've also posted a set of directions as pictures.

I'm organizing a diabetes meetup picnic in the Beaverbrook reservation just outside of Boston.

I hope this will allow many of us to meetup for the first time and share stories and suggestions about diabetes. It's a good way to compare pumps and meters or perhaps to see some CGMS units. The reservation is a great location for photography, hiking and fishing (with license).

Please RSVP with number of folks coming.

Family and friends are welcome. Please invite anyone you know. Remember it's a picnic, so please bring your own food and drink. Propane grills are allowed in this park.

I'm also hoping to have some diabetes samples there.

I will be there early to setup and will leave directions at the rangers office close to the park entrance. Call my mobile (978-621-3345) if you can't find us.

We also had a Wonderful time meeting everyone at the tudiabetes meet-up!
I have marked my calendar for next year!
It would be fun to also have an Fall meeting, would anyone be interested in this?
I would be happy to host it at our home!

Thank you for the great photos...I was so busy chatting I never actually took any, oops. Our son really enjoyed getting very wet in the brook. He's happy to go back there anytime.

Picnic was a great success (I think).

Thank you all for coming. I've already created an event for July 11th of next year. Though maybe I should keep it to ourselves. :-)

Let's see if we can get 50 or more people for the next one. (I'm smiling as I type, thanks for a fun Saturday afternoon.)

Hey tu community, Sorry i did not know sooner. I was in Boston mass, yesterday at Tufts for some liver test. Pumpy and i would have loved to meey you all.
