I'll see you guys there, I've told a lot of my non diabetic/diabetic friends about this event. If you see me in the crowd say hello. Jim

Will be visiting my daughter at Berkeley from NJ that week, so I'm in! It sounds like a fun way to bring awareness to the masses.

Oh yes, jrt. I agree. We never thought of that in ye olden days. It was just a fun thing to do. Which this sounded like and so resonated---I'm not good in crowds right now, but since I'm going to be with family far away from home---family that is all more or less raised on Whimsy, it seemed like fun to try for!!!

Judith, sizes??? We used to get a hula hoop. No size. Green, blue, red, yellow? Some things have just become too complicated!

Well, good goddess, I just googled buying a few, thinking I could have them sent to my niece in Mpls to be there when I arrive---but there seem to be all kinds of them now and many sizes and 6-12-24-packs and weighted and day-glow and I don't know what! And I didn't find them online at the big stores like Target and Sears, for instance. Any suggestions---adult size, blue, of course and maybe 2 child size???

I don't think the Guinness people will be able to count remote hoola hoopers! :(
