Russell Vinik, MD is a prominent Hospitalist at the University of Utah Hospital and will present on the management of diabetes in the inpatient setting. Topics to discuss include how hyperglycemia is linked with poor outcomes in the hospitalized patient, aggressive glycemic control and who benefits most from such control, and where to set glycemic targets. Take advantage of this program by considering the challenges/questions/issues you may have in terms of managing the inpatient with diabetes.
REGISTRATION: Please designate one site coordinator to register your office/organization by July 14 for either video conference, webstream or telephone participation. For those who submitted a request to be a "standing registration" from now on, you do not need to submit a registration form.

The designated site coordinator will then receive the program materials by email (usually the day before the program) for distribution to colleagues. If your video site is not listed for online registration, please use the attached registration form.

***Webstreaming Participation: If you would like to participate with live webstreaming on your personal computer, email nathanpeterson@utah.gov for those instructions. If you have participated with webstreaming before, the same instructions and access number of 100 apply so you don't necessarily need to request that information again.
CE Credits: 1.5 hours for Nurses; 1 hour for Dietitians; and 1 hour for all others.
