Run/Walk Around Lake Elizabeth (Fremont, CA)
Hi everybody,
DESA Meetup Member Dave S is putting on this active event on Sunday November 8. The location is ideal for mid-peninsula and East Bay members - Lake Elizabeth in Fremont!
We'll warm up with 15 minutes of stretching and bodyweight exercises, then break into two groups.
Runners can do a light jog 2x around the lake (~ 4 miles), walkers can do one lap (~2 miles). We'll end at the
picnic tables near the boat house in case anyone wants to pack a lunch.
Meet on the boathouse dock ( Map of park - http://www.fremont.go...)
at 11am. Dave will be wearing a nametag.
Dave S is a Type I on an insulin pump and into running, hiking, martial arts, and biking.

Come on out and support the activity. We have so many new members and this is a GREAT opportunity to get to know one another. I'm still on crutches following my surgery. If I get the clearance from my doctor, I will be there just to meet everyone. Stay tuned!
