Event Description

Presented by the Canadian Diabetes Association and Interior Health, this seminar features four speakers from across British Columbia with a focus on Type 1 Diabetes.

Canadian Olympic rower, Chris Jarvis, and motivational speaker Sandy Struss will both speak about their experiences living with diabetes. Dr. Dan Metzger, Pediatric Endocrinologist at BC Children's hospital will offer insight to the latest in diabetes treatment, and Dr Ronald Cridland of the Kelowna Sleep Clinic will talk about sleep and diabetes.

I heard via the grape vine ( lots of them in the Penticton area, ha, ha !!) on Nov. 14 , WDD that your attendance numbers are climbing .

Carey , thanks for getting it on TU today ..., I did sent invite to some Salmon Armenians ( pumpers, non-pumpers , educators ) recently . Gord and I will have to look for a pet friendly place , because the drive to by 8.30 am is a problem for us and Rottie Penny would like to come along ...3 hours to Penticton at least from SA ??
I have been invited to have aTeam Diabetes table at Kamloops Expo , Nov. 14 ; have a chance to tell a bit about the CDA's NAGM , Oct. 22 in Montreal . Marg suggested to have an invite/poster about Manny's suggested finger poke, exercise , finger poke , record on TU on November 14, World Diabetes Day .
