World Diabetes Day in Philadelphia

Hi, it's Lee Ann Thill here, representing the official Philadelphia WDD event! Come celebrate World Diabetes Day in Philadelphia! I'll be updating with details, but so far I know there will be BG screenings, blood pressure screenings, foot exams, and since this year WDD is on a Saturday, programming for children. I'll be there facilitating a community art project, and I'd love to see you there!

I know there will be a lot of T2 and pre-D, but this is for ALL types of diabetes, so we need more T1's to join me to make it a united effort for WDD :)

Hey we were at Temple on Saturday .... were you there ? it was Lane and Mikey and me. Didn't find anyone else and we were there the whole day.
Left before dark, do you know if Philadelphia was blue , I'd love to see some pics if anyone has any.

Sounds like lots of fun. I won't be able to attend I have Spinal Stenosis and it's difficult to get around if I don't get a ride.

Will see if I can get down there; the SEPTA strike certainly doesn't make it easy, busing R8 Fox Chase line if parking exists...

Sounds great...I have a major appointment with the family doc on Monday. Expect really good news on the diabetes and blood Pressure fronts. The day downtown sounds like it could be pretty beneficial anyway since Im still learning. I will bring the family. The wife is the artist. Not me lol
