I'm sure I've had some of that marathon-trauma-induced high blood sugar at times, but I have a comment on another occurrence.
I ran a marathon on Sunday as well, the OC Marathon. I was using a lot of insulin after, and woke with a high blood sugar the next day.
It was hot out here on Sunday, and I think the insulin in my pump got a bit baked. I was definitely back closer to normal after putting in a new cartridge and infusion site.
