To add another quick Fiasp comment. Breakfast has always been a pain for me and I usually do not have more than 15g of carbs at breakfast. The last two mornings I have had 30g of very quick acting carbs (mom did some baking - a sweet dough and nut roll which taste fabulous - she did cut back on the sugar but there is sugar...) followed by the protien with about a 7 minute pre-bolus with Fiasp. Here is the result this morning so far.....
Also - notice that my CGM alarm went off early this morning just before 3am. I woke up, did a fingerstick to confirm CGM number, did a correction and went back to sleep. The correction pretty much knocked the slow BG rise right away and within 15 minutes I was back below 8 (144).
@Terry4 I used to get the pump bumps with Humalog, but now I switched to Fiasp, (ok for like two site changes) I am not seeing the irritation at all. So it is working better for me so far. As is often said YDMV)
@Scott_Eric I am seeing the same thing with the tail. It seems like after about 3 hours I am not going to drop that much. Where I used to wait a bit for a correction, I will now do it a bit earlier. I am using 3.5 hours in the Omnipod for DIA where I used to use 4 hours. I run xdrip+ in parallel and I use 4.0 hours versus 4.5 hours that I used to use. Still not sure if these are right, but that is what I am using.
