The heart work-up revealed a left ventricle with thick walls. From age or high BP or both. My pulmonologist said that the Exertional Dyspnea may come from some disfunction in the way oxygen is transfered from the capillary in the lung to the blood vessel. The lung function is fine, so we will investigate further with a CAT Scan of the lungs after a dye injection to see the contrast.
My wife is a little scared of his having theorized about there being a blood clot somewhere. I do have a thicken wall of my left ventricle in the heart. I have had very complicated medical problems since childhood.
The doctor who performed the heart cath said my arteries were clean... I had the heart of a 25 year old. He wanted my heart, blah, blah, blah.
I just read a study from the Annals of Cardiology that people with left ventricle hypertrophy, such as I have now, in five years 18.8 % of us will die. Now I am looking for another study.
