The first meter I got when becoming a T1er a year ago was a freestyle. Didn't like it, but maybe I just didn't like being diabetic. Seemed to give lots of questionable readings when the sample was just enough to still read. I switched to One Touch and liked them more. Wanted to try the contour USB cuz its cool, but didn't like that either so back to the one touch. The Contour USB didn't give accurate readings below 100 (seemed high), but was more accurate above 130 or so. My One Touch Ultra seemed to give much better readings below 100 but less so on the 150+ range. (I used them both for a month of dual testing). Long story shortened, I got my labs back from the endo today, and the 95 fasting BG result matched exactly the reading I got when they took the sample. Lucky I guess, but sticking with One Touch.
