The first step in fixing what's wrong is to recognize that something IS wrong. You've done that.
The second step is simply WANTING to fix it, i.e., being determined to. Clearly you are.
IMHOP, finding a psychologist is a big step in the right direction. Twice in my life I've looked in the mirror and said, "Clearly you can't fix this alone, 'cause you've tried and it doesn't work. Go find a professional who knows how." I've done it twice and it worked both times. And that's really the bottom line, with diabetes, depression, or anything else -- you have to do what works.
