I'm not quite there yet but I can imagine how you feel since I've noticed how fast time passes and too much wasted time is going on for us. First it's Sunday then it's Saturday before we know it.
I was grateful when people used to offer me their seat each time that I was pregnant. For many years I have offered senior citizens, pregnant women and disabled people my seat. I hold the door open for anyone and let them go first. I also let people behind me with a few items go ahead of me in line when I have more items, and so on. Hopefully when I am old enough, I will also be offered a seat and help again. Nothing to be ashamed of or feel bad about. It's a privilege to have people concerned about us.
I say, when I was young, the Drs. were all older than me. Now they are all younger thn me(for the most part). Now that's depressing. :D
That is sad about you not being able to live in your beloved home Muleman but at least you were able to live in it for a while and realized your dream. My Hubby and I also wanted to move out of the city but we both know that is not going to happen(unless we strike it rich), since we need to be close to Drs./hospitals and other conveniences, connections and knowing that if the power goes out, then it will be back on soon again.
Thank you and take care.
