I recently went to my Endo appointment, saw the new Nurse Practitioner, and everything went well. She looked over my labs and said my A1c was much better (6.9 down from 7.9) and I was not spilling protein into my urine.
However, when I went home I looked up my labs. My spot urine microalbumin is 10.3. The cutoff says 30, but I have also seen 20 some places. I am freaking out that I am inching closer. And that I should have 0!! My last one was 2 I beleive, and in 2014 it was low, I just dont remember what. I cannot for the life of me remember if I worked out the night before the test. I do kickboxing and weights like twice a week at home, and dont know if that was lne of the days I did work for 6 hours immediately before my test as a nurse, pushing beds and helping patients move.
I am a 31 year old T1D for 29 years. Never shown retinopathy, or protein in the urine. This has me convinced its all coming though.
