On the third day I've noticed much higher BG readings. My endo just changed the script to every 2 days. So I don't have any results as yet. What is frustrating me more with the Omnipod system is how it will occasionally just deactivate at very inconvenient times for a variety of reasons with no feedback other than "am I pinching the site during the pod change" or where are you inserting the pod" some parts of the body require different patterns like abdominal site is horizontal and legs and arms are vertical, or the most frustrating one is "did you let the insulin get to room temperature during the pod change?" The two reasons I changed to Omnipod from the Medtronic was that it was waterproof and it was tubeless, well now I'm reading about other pumps as this system seems very erratic and my A1C's are much higher than they were when I was on the Minimed pump.
Sorry for the length of this post but I'd like to know what other results pump users are having with different pumps. I'm really looking at the t:slim but am concerned how young of a company.
