Well, I have to tell you, I protect my privacy. I don't use my real name and despite claims otherwise, this isn't a picture of my true face.
What is done is done, but you can take action now to maintain more privacy. First, you can go to your settings and change you public "nickname" to something less revealing. This will keep your public discussions and blogs from appearing with your real name. And once it propogates, google will no longer find your name.
And I don't never reveal my true name, personal identity, where I work or other things in these forums. People that know me, personally message me, they know my true name.
These protections can help keep some arbitrary person from invading your privacy, but they may not be all that useful in keeping someone like an ex away.
Just some thoughts.
