Ideal Weight for a Toned 5'10" Male
A 5-foot, 10-inch male should weigh between 129 to 173 lbs. to have a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9. Weighing less than 129 pounds at 5 feet 10 inches tall classifies you as underweight, (but probably what a lot weighed in 1950, if you walk down the street now and compare that to old photos of people in the street)
ever heard of the super hero, flash gordon? he (the one with the spear) would have been 140lb dripping wet
you should get hungry when you hit your genetic weight..you aren't underweight yet... doing a manual job, you should be able to eat 2000-2500 without much trouble.,,you were eating a lot more before
if you aren't hungry, ..you need to pick nutrient dense food and feed yourself with that first, before you fill up on veg and salad...
you may need to buy whey protein, buy the cheapest per 1g of protein without much carb.. to supplement.....you could add it to bulletproof coffee, or buy a flavored one and use it instead of coffee.
bulletproof coffee is whatever coffee you drink, in a jug with a tablespoon of butter and coconut oil.....use a stick blender to mix it all up......it really tastes better than it sounds and you may need to build up to 30g fat and 270 cal..start with a good teaspoon of each. you may need to put it into a microwave to reheat.
I use "fat bombs" for sweets, desiccated coconut, ground almond meal, cocoa powder (cooking type), vanilla and coconut oil and butter mix. mixed into a ball then rolled in desiccated coconut again and into the fridge to set..it is my favourite one.
you need insulin to put on weight and protein needs insulin. so it's a win win and it's digested slowly and doesn't spike like carb...
google stick blender Hollandaise sauce, that's a very tasty, gourmet food that is so easy to make. turn plain eggs into a luxury.
If you are T2...I think you can do it without insulin and the orals that make your pancreas work harder...the insulin resistance is still there and you will find it hard not to get fat again with high carb.
