Every single one of us has a little room for improving our lives as diabetics, right? So whats your diabetes goal for 2010?...better food choices? ...more frequent blood testing? ...or even (gasp) daily exercise?

Maybe your goal is totally different...like mentoring a child with diabetes, fund raising, or getting more involved with different diabetes groups and organizations.

Whatever your goal is, I wish you all the best success in 2010.

keep my a1c at 5.5 without a lot of lows like i had when i was on mdi
To make a commitment to myself. A commitment, to the commitment... even when I'm tired, depressed, angry, or frustrated, and I just want to throw in the towel. Plus, figure an indoor exercise routine I can do on days when it's too horrifyingly cold outside. *shrug* I just don't like walking in below 0°F weather. lol
My resolution is to keep my A1C at 6.5 or lower, and exercise consistently every week!
To parent my 7 year old with Type 1, with grace, a sense of humor, compassion and truth.
bravo
To hope more, complain less, and make the most of every opportunity life throws at me! (yes, that includes my diabetes.)
to be more idependent of "D"....i've just been wanting to give up on it lately...so my mom knew this and was doing most of for me....
therfore i want to take better control...
Good job Sadie! When I was a kid my mom tried to do it for me cause I didn't want to acknowledge that I had to and I've paid for it and am learning how to be on top of it at 37! Stay positive and in charge!
Acceptance of my imperfections and that some situations are beyond my control.
To cultivate a patient attitude.
To live in the moment and appreciate life as it happens.
To remember that happiness is to be found inside myself - in my mind and feelings.
Eat raw foods more often...cover extra kms on foot...do da written stuff...it always works 'when I stick with it'...and give myself freedom to take risks, be adventurous, have fun while 'sticking with' my management plans...phew! Yeah!
Mine is to test more, im determind this year to test atleast twice a day, and to just make sure i do things now, not letting my diabetes stop me anymore.
Oh, mine are to do what everyone has listed here: test more, log more, eat better, lose 40 lbs, get permission (funny, huh?) to conceive, exercise more, blah, blah, blah! Thanks everyone!
