I change my lancet every day - so I use it around 10-11 times. Before I started to pump, I was changing the lancet with every test. The CDE who trained me on the pump could hardly believe it and told me it wasn't necessary. I have good insurance and lancets are cheap so I don't see much point in using them until the break.
I used to be a long term user, then I started chaning mine and it is wonderufl. I use a multiclix (also wonderufl) and wghen I get like 15 or uses, i change it. I dont see anything wrong with nto chnaing it, I used ot go several months , but a nice sharp one, is well its almost, i mean not really, but much closer to comfortable.
