I had a dream that I met Meadowlark.
I still say Jenny should run a Diabetes B&B where we could go to hang out together and benefit from her extensive knowledge. Just in case you are looking for something else to do, Jenny........

NoNo, Friend Elaine----Libby should run the B&B with all those yummy lo-carb recipes and we install Jennie and Scott Strumello as resident TuD scholars, with a rotating roster of TuD Huggers in the Comfort Zone with the rocking chairs! Oh and we need an area where another rotating roster of our old-timers and loving pros like sohair can reside in the Hear and Advise Room. By Gum----we need a veritable mansion, don't we?!

Choosing 3 is much too hard. I had the honor of meeting Manny and Andreina and Santi last month, an experience I suggest everybody put at the top of their list.

I think I am in the TuD Expo category. I'm definitely thinking of figuring out local meet-ups as a starting place that could lead to our very own Big Event some day! Manny said he's working on getting the search engine set up so we can find each other geographically more easily. Wouldn't that be fun?!....Be well, all!.....

I would really love to see local meet-ups going so we could work toward that "Big Event". We could get our local papers and churchs and schools involved and truly get to meet everyone. That would be so incredible. We have a veritable treasue trove of people. And then Manny would have to travel all over the world to see all of us. How great is that. It sure makes me smile. A Tu Diabetes Tu Expo !!!!!!! GO TEAM !!!!!!!!

I don't post often on TuDiabetes, but if anyone lives in southern Vermont or northern Massachusetts and is interested in face-to-face meetings, I've started a DM support group that meets in Jacksonville, VT, once a month and welcomes everyone. Get in touch with me for more information. So far it's only about 5 local people, mostly type 2 but one longtime type 1. Some people quit because I was endorsing low-carb eating and they said that's not what their doctors told them to do.

I can't help but notice,Judith, that we haven't heard from Libby, Jenny or Scott........They must not be aware of our great plans for their new careers. Perhaps thery are just mulling it over......
