I wear one & leave it on all the time, unless I'm really dressed up. Mine's a narrow stainless steel band. It looks like a regular bracelet. I also have a card taped to my wallet that says; I'm diabetic, blah, blah.

how long has it been?

I can't stand wearing jewelry. All I wear is a watch--no rings, bracelets, necklaces, or (god forbid) earrings! LOL!!! Therefore, I don't wear a medic alert bracelet.

I try not to pass out... :) Besides, I'm wearing a pump and have info in my wallet.

I should also add that I don't worry about some things as much as your average bear, and other things I worry more about! Guess we all have our own specific worries. :)

I used to carry a necklace untill it broke. I now carry a card and also use an app on my IPhone called Emergency which contains all sorts of info and contacts to call.

Have you ever thought of getting a "medical" tattoo? I've thought about it in the past but the one thing I would be worried about is the longer healing time and possible infection.

i've talk to a er doctor(and a lot of other ppl) about medical tattoo and they told me they dont pay any mind to tattoo's and so i think it would be a wast of money but i sure would love that
