Almost every thing we buy today has a guarantee with it. Be it a car, an appliance or many other things. But when we come to living there is NO guarantee.
Isn't that a pity? We learned that very well when the diagnosis of diabetes was made. So, we got a bit worried not knowing about and not having learned the rules that go with diabetes living. But then, we did learn to appreciate every day that we lived and when we heard that some people with diabetes were living with it for 50 or 60 years, providing that you would live the way you should live, we got hope again. Than we heard about men and women who suddenly left us because of a heart attack sometimes at very early age, it now became time again to love life and see that every day we lived is precious. We stop living in the tomorrow that may never be and live for today always hoping for another day and treasuring it.
So, if we are smart, we live today..... and every day without worry about the future.
Trouble is, I sometimes forget these words and look at the possible future, I do not worry about it but are concerned.
But then again, I realize that it wouldn't make any difference anyway and go back to the day to day job.
Greetings, JB.
