hi, new member dale here......just got 1st post diabetes diagnosis lab workup, and everything was good, 5.4 a1c, cholesterol 194, but urine albumin was 30.0.....all other readings including bun,and albumin to creatinine ratios in normal range, could dehydration, or the atkins diet have had effect, or should i be worried at all, just one point over the normal range,,,please advise...thanks dale

Congrats on the fabulous A1c & other great results! I wouldn't worry about one point over the normal range for albumin. Lab results can be off & individual test results aren't as important as the total picture in context, given your other good ratios.
