On this day in history, I was diagnosed with type one diabetes one full year ago.. Forever changed but forever the same little girl who has a life full of dreams and plans to accomplish them.

You must be feeling better. Hope all is going well for you.

I'm always sad at these stories as I'm not sure what my date was but I'm glad you are moving forward and hope there's something good on TV @ the hospital today!!

Acidrock, I was able to find out my exact date by contacting the hospital. I knew the year and approximately the month. The records were 35 years old and on microfiche, but they had copies available for me in a few weeks. I got these records to satisfy my curiosity and to get my info on file at Joslin so I can get the 50 year medal in 14 years.

Kelsey, my diaversary is Nov. 15 so we can " celebrate" together. You have a wonderful attitude and that will make all the difference. Cheers to you!
