Hello there, I am a type 1 diabetic and suffer with migraines. A friend suggested i try a natural herb called Feverfew. Just wondering if any diabetics out there take this or have tried it, i cant seem to find much info on it and want to know if its suitable for us LOL.

Spanner--- grow it in my yard and just go out and graze on the leaves for mild-severe tension/sleepless night headaches. I have had migraines in my teen years and occasionally in early menopause. But I don't know if it will work for them. I have found it helpful and safe, but we are all different. Start small and build up the dosage slowly, listening to your body as you go. As with many meds, a negative reaction would probably manifest as stomach upset or diarrhea, for instance.
Hello, this may not work for all but have had success with simply soaking feet up just past ankle w/ cool to coldish water...
A splash of lavender oil could sooth also. Best of luck and remember to just breathe deeply while soaking your feet maybe just a few minutes... everyone is different w/how long the relief comes. Also, in all seriousness, ask it to leave or be shown the cause. Perhaps a flash of insight might hit and relief be yours for evermore...
Peace LOVE and Light
Mateo, you have reminded me that some people get relief by soaking their feet in cool water for a few minutes and then transferring the feet to hot water (not boiling). Going back and forth between the different temperatures seems to work well for some people.
After you read the article on herbs for migraines, visit www.dlife.com (diabetic life) and search herbs for type 1 or type 2 diabetic
