TuDiabetes

My daughter is the one who is Type 1, but our entire family is living with it. After 2 years of injections, we got the OmniPod. My daughter loves it and has gained some independence back. She is 13 now, just hitting those awkward pre-teen, body-changing years. So her numbers are going crazy. At least we're not dealing with injections anymore. She never could get the courage to self inject.

This is not an OmniPod ad, it's just my daughter's story, created by herself and a friend to try to win a LapTop from Insulet (the OmniPod manufacturer).

It turned out to be more inspirational than anything.
