I am using the optium xceed which I love. I have had to use the ketone strips a few times which is better than the urine strips although they are expensive to buy. I was also given the accu-chek performa but dont like how the strips come in the container. If you go to DAQ you can have a look and a play with them all.
i just traded in my performa but not for that reason. when i went an traded it in they sayed what model is it i said performa and they just looked at me and said you did the right thing trading. I think there has been problems as mine played up alot.
I too use the optimum exceed and it works fine for me though I don't use the ketone strips yet. Once I start pump next week I probably will do. I like it 'cause it's small! get so tired of wrecking my handbags by stuffing them with gear all the time.
