My insurance only covers $500 a year in medications. Since I go through 2 or 3 bottles of humalog a month, that means I hit my upper limit within the first month. I am trying to import some Humalog from a Canadian pharmacy, because they are cheaper than paying the $150 I would have to pay here.
However, a few weeks ago, I tried to buy from one pharmacy (www.bigmountaindrugs.com
aka canadadrugsonline.com, blueskydrugs.com, and canadapharmacyonline.com). I paid them $260 or so for 10 bottles of Humalog. They sent me insulin that was labelled as Humalog but was in fact Regular. (I called them up to complain, and they told me I was imagining things. I told them I'd been diabetic for most of my life, and I know when I'm taking Regular. They basically called me a sucker and said there was nothing I could do about it.)
So, anyway, now I am trying to find a good, reputable, reliable Canadian pharmacy that someone has used and knows will send me humalog (and not Regular that is labelled as Humalog). Does anyone have any good experience with this? Any information would help.
