does chat only function at certain times. I realize i am no longer seeing it when i log in

Yes Philmore, it only operates when we are having a video conference with a doctor or someone else D related. These usually occur on Fridays. Sometimes the main office forgets to turn it off and it stays on for a long weekend like it did over memorial day.

I wouldn't mind meeting up for chats more often. I have Windows Live Messenger if anyone wants to add me to discuss diabetes-related stuff. Just let me know you're from tudiabetes.org and I'll accept you. I don't go on often anymore, but we might meet up sometime to talk about pumps and insulin and carb counting :)
