Hello! Does anybody know if children with diabetes provides scholarships or financial help with attending this event? I live in michigan and we don't really have the money right now.. I beleive I could probably pay my own way, but I am 17 and I don't think my parents will let me go alone, and I don't have the money or time to earn the money for a parent to also attend. So if anyone has any information could you please let me know? thank you =]

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! =]]]
There are scholarships available for both families and young adults. They are through the Diabetes Scholars Foundation. The family scholarship has an income requirement but the young adult scholarship is available regardless of income. Keep in mind, though, that an adult must be with you if you are under 18.
