Diabetes Camps for a 12 year old
Hi All, trying to pick a diabetes camp for kennedy...
I see one in TN that is age 6 to 12, a day camp. Im thinking she will think she's too big for that one...
there is another in St Louis, ( which I think my old friend from rsidency runs, becky green, peds endo) which is 9 to 15 and is overnight, That I'm thinking will be more her speed...
How do you do it? let your kid go away for a week!!?? I'm sure she will be fine, with all the cde's there and everything, but I am really worried, still?!
K was diagnosed June 30 2011 so coming up on her diaversary...
She is on omnipod/apidra, may have dex by june...
