Dr. Aimar Mack is the only board certified endocrinologist I could find in the area. Located at the Conway Physicians Group, 843-234-9700, fax=843-234-6896.
2376 Cypress Circle, Conway SC 29526. Conway is close by.
I could not find the board certification of the physician at Myrtle Beach Endocrinologists, 1039 44th Ave N #204, 843-839-3950. You can ask on a phone call.
I put board certification first. Maybe someone will come on here from Myrtle Beach!

Thanks. I'm having a rough time...I found a "Diabetes Center" that is staffed with NO Endos or CDE's. They have an internist, MD, who refers to himself as a "diabetologist". Some had suggested I give him a chance but the lack of training in all things D scares me a little too much.

Praying someone from the area will weigh in!
