Permalink Reply by Charlie on March 5, 2012 at 2:00pm I have a Minimed 522 and order my supplies through CCS Medical. I just found out today that some people do the insertion manually. The biggest problem is keeping the inserter clean. An alcohol pad is too small to get the sticky off oneself and clean the insertion device. I take those pads women use to clean off make up with and douse one of them with alcohol & clean everything with that, each time.
