EXTREME thirst, despite having fine blood sugar readings

Hey,

My blood glucose has been rather fine lately, no problems with my readings. Despite that, I've been extremely thirsty. Does that have to do with diabetes? Or could it just be the hot weather kicking in? I'm thirstier than the non diabetics around me. I'm a Type 1.

Do you have thyroid problems? A lot of diabetics have thyroid problems and Hashimotos causes dry mouth (even if your thyroid levels are optimal). There is also another autoimmune problem called Sjogren's which also causes dryness. Do you use a memory foam pillow, topper or mattress? That caused dryness for me.

Thanks for your reply. I checked out the symptoms, and somewhat the closest thing seems to be Hashimotos thyroid, especially since I indeed did have tough muscle cramps lately. I'll monitor the symptoms further.
