I have an OmniPod question again. How do you program your own items into the Food Library on the PDM. Many things in there, I never eat, but would like to be able to enter some items I do eat on a regular basis.

Also, how do I enter into My Info in My Records? Can't seem to figure this one out either.

Hi Benny - When you enter your own food items, they don't go into the food library. They actually appear as presets. Once you have carb presets entered, you will be able to access them when you are about to bolus for a meal. The will appear as "favorites", "snacks", or meals depending on how you categorize them when you enter them.

To enter a new item: From the home screen, select "settings" then "presets" then "carb presets" then favorites, snacks, or meals. Then select "add new" and follow the prompts to enter the data. I usually only enter the food name and carbs but you will also be able to add fiber, fat, protein, and calories if you want to.

I haven't used the My Info screen, but it looks like you would just select "Edit" for each line. Enter text by using the up and down arrow keys to select the letters and numbers you want. Don't forget to save when you're done.

Hope that helps!

Tony
