Fasciitis

Guillain Barre Syndrome
One of my specialists got this disease over 3 years ago and within a month he was on a respirator in ICU. It's been 3 years of a very slowly receding paralysis and he is still almost quadriplegic. I first heard about this disease on the Dr. Welby show decades ago when the young Dr. Kiley contracted it and was completely paralysed. Somehow he managed to get through it and healed in less than an hour! I wish my friend/doctor would hurry up and get better.

What a horror for your Specialist. (I Loved that show. It was on again about 5 years ago.)

Dr. Welby was certainly the start of a lot of medical shows. My doc/friend lives near us and so was the hospital he was in for over a year so I got in the habit of going over to see him every week. He is improving, e v e r s o s l o w l y but a little bit with his physio and adjustments. It is a long hard road for him and we both enjoy getting outside for a couple hours every week. He's in a motorized chair so he's hard to keep up to! His wife is a nurse and she takes good care of him. It was a bit weird for me at first to be feeding the fella who had seen parts of my anatomy I don't normally expose, but certainly his mind has not been affected at all by this horrible disease. He still has a sense of humour too - albeit a tad warped after all this.
