I encourage you all to express your inner most diabetes experiences in the ancient artform of Japanese Haiku poetry.

The first line usually contains five (5) syllables, the second line seven (7) syllables, and the third line contains five (5) syllables.

I ask that you please follow the format and keep all poems diabetes related.

Here's my example:

Error 3
Blood drips from the thumb
Touch strip early error tells
Meter not ready

"Angry/Whining/Depressing Food-Addicted Beginning Diabetes Phase Haiku"

Whining about food
I cannot treat myself with
When before I could...

Thanks for this thread, I think writing this really helped me. BIIIGGGG Exhale =)
my pump is f-ed up
two days in a row enough enough
need a vacation
this act of love hurts
watch her numbers every day
let a cure come soon
How to let it go ?

Very hard to do it seems

It's already gone

Lose your hopes and fears
Don't look back and don't look ahead
Happiness is now

Despite the troubles,
Diabetes can be fun.
Yay! Dino is back!

Feel dizzy and cold
Must check my sugar right now
Where are my Skittles

Three point one? WHAT? No!
Lunch was two hours ago....
should be high, not low!

I lie here an addict
Waiting for the sweetness to return
My eyes
Rolled
Way back
