Could you maybe give us some specifics, Kanella so we can help?
Permalink Reply by Kanella on May 12, 2013 at 11:04pm Well, I have been on levemir and monorapid the last two years,
and my problem is that my blood sugar goes down 2 hours after I give myself a novorapid injection. It remains high and then....boom! it goes down. My doctor says it is weird. Has any of you had the same problem?
Permalink Reply by bort269 on May 12, 2013 at 2:27pm I test a minimum of 8 times/day (~240/month):
When I wake up,
Before/after all 3 meals,
Before going to bed
but then I usually have 2-3 extra tests during the day, or crazy days when I test 15 times! (so ~300-350/month)
...and this is with my Dexcom G4 CGM that I love and is super precise!

Permalink Reply by Tumble Weed on Sunday I use 30-31 Test Strips. I only test one time in the morning. My insurance will not cover more that that.
