Yes! I "feel low" quite a lot! I also have anxiety and take medication for it and find that when I'm anxious about something, or am having a panic attack, I think my sugar's low...when it's definitely not! My doctor describes that the same hormone is released when you're having a panic attack and when your sugar is low - ADRENALINE! Sucks.

Yes, frequently. One thing I've learned from my pharmacist is that certain cold/allergy remedies can give you the feeling like you have low blood sugar. It's gotten to the point that I avoid taking allergy pills unless my allergies are making me so miserable I can't function, because I hate testing over and over again to find out if I'm low or not, especially when I have a limited supply of test strips.

thats interesting. what medications have you found that do this, if you don't mind me asking?

I think the biggest culprit for me is anything that has chlorpheniramine in it.. Basically if you look at the label of a cold or allergy medicine and the warning label on it says that diabetic people should check with their doctor before taking it, that's the big clue. Any of the cold or allergy meds that are supposed to cause drowsiness are the ones to watch for.
