My fiends and family made this first year bearable. I was expecting to be sad about the day. I remember the pain and just how sick I was.. But they made today wonderful. A cookie cake (which I took my isnsulin correctly for!) balloons, and presents. From teddy bears to necklaces to encouraging cards.. My endo gave me a teddy bear and guess what!!! I got free six months worth of test strips, prickers, and my site changes. I have an amazing endo team.
Today was made great by my cheer team, softball team and friends.
Now relaxing in my hospital room watching Toy Story 3 with my boyfriend, mom and dad, little bubba, and Hader bug.. Love cuddling with them. What a great day to wrap up an amazing yet challenging year..(:
