Jacob's Ladder, by Lizmari

When I lost my father... it was so hard to contain the urge to want to call him on the phone, to want to visit him.  One day, I just saw this image, and I felt... like I could somehow climb, and go see him... wherever he was... Up into the universe, the energy, the galaxy... whatever it is we all are.  I am having such a hard time... not feeling the same, right now.  Not for my own father, but for a good friend. John was a good friend, a loving husband to Missy, and a saint, in my eyes... at least for as much as he sacrificed, and cared, and fought... he fought hard for Missy, and for all of us D's, really...

You will forever be soooo sorely missed, John.  Until we meet again.

That is sad. I hope he is in a somehow in a better place now.
I share all those feeling your talking about there for my mom. AS everybody here knows I lost my dad last month. Poor Missy, I know that heartache all to well. Let's all just get it in our minds that he is where he will never hurt again or feel down in anyway. Missy we're all here for you. Your deeply in my prayers.
Sorrow abounds in the world....
Very nice tribute Liz. Thanks for posting this.
I echo KimKat's sentiments... very tragic, feel for Missy...
John, a good man, a very good man. Myheart is broken into a thousand pieces for Missy.
Blessings to you all, my dear friend.....
I feel the same way Gerri.
God Bless him. Missy has a guardian angel now.
That's a very powerful image, Liz.

Thank you
I have never prayed harder or more sincerely for anyone I did not know as I have for Missy and John in the past 48 hours. So sad...
Very well put Lizmari as usual.
It will help us all visualise his safe journey back home.
