Been there, done that! I once got my 10 unit left warning when I wasn't yet fully awake, forgot about it and went out to lunch. When I went out to lunch I saw I had one whole unit left. Fortunately I'd just ordered a salad so I removed the croutons and did fine.

I also went to my doctor's appointment once, went into the bathroom to give a urine sample, then was rushing when I pulled up my jeans and pulled it out. I returned to the office with pump in hand. (But everyone enjoyed looking at it!)

LOL...HOW ABOUT PULLING IT OUT & BLEEDING ON & ON. COULD NOT STOP THE BLEEDING APPLIED PRESSURE & ALL OK.OH YEA I FORGOT ...GOT BLOOD ALL OVER ME & MY QUILT...OH WELL...I'M STILL HERE :)

Yep, I've had a gusher before too! Sorry about the quilt! I try and grab a paper towel ASAP (tissue isn't enough for gushers!) but it's hard to do fast enough! Oh, fun and games, huh!

I DID THE SAME THING LOL...QUILT WAS OK ...I SOAKED & IT GOT CLEAN...WAS POLY-COTTON...THAT HELPS

There u go! Too true! Also may I suggest u do what I do.....I always have an extra set in my purse just incase! LOL!

So do I Doris! The problem is I sometimes forget to take extra insulin LOL. I have a whole little kit packed that's supposed to come with me everywhere, but doesn't always make it :) I'm good if I'm going far from home, but not if I'm just running errands or whatever.

I get samples of novolog pens from my endo, and throw one in my purse. The plan is to change it out the first of each month. Sometimes I remember LOL. Better than nothing.

once I put my set in without priming it. my husband and I just stood there looking at each other for a moment, and then I did it right

Okay, how about putting in a new set but forgetting to remove the old one? Since I always switch sides when I change, it was several days before I realized I still had the old site in (had to stay away from that area for a while...ugh!)

LOL
