JDD vs JDM
I have a copy of "Joslin's Diabetes Deskbook," but have been looking at "Joslin's Diabetes Mellitus" (14th edition). If anyone has both, what's the difference between JDD and JDM? Is JDM worth the price?

I pretty much will swear by "Think Like a Pancreas" but it sounds like those are a bit weightier? Do you have a goal in these books?

Think Like a Pancreas is, in my opinion, a key book for every diabetic to have.
My goal with JDD and JDM is to get a better, more comprehensive understanding of diabetes.
That said, the opening sentence of JDD really blew my mind and helped me see diabetes in a whole different light. The information therein can be technical, but not something that a layman (like myself) can't understand.
