Make a difference and participate in Type 1 research

Want to make a difference and be a part of the Diabetes research hero that help doctors around the globe get us closer to a cure? Then please consider giving your information and perhaps get the chance to qualify with the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI). I have been participating in all kinds of research since my date of diagnosis in May 2008 and I have met a great deal of interesting people, nurses, doctors and researchers.
BRI are in specific need of individuals interested in their research that are 4 years from diagnosis. If you are interested, but greater than 4 years from diagnosis, you still could donate a blood sample to help them learn more about the immunology of type 1 diabetes. Their website is www.benaroyaresearch.org to get more information. You can click on Clinical Trials, Diabetes Research Program to find more information.

Thank you, and get involved.
