People with diabetes can & do eat microwaved food. It must be an ingredient in the food. If you're eating packaged food that's just heated up, it's full of chemicals & hidden carbs. Check the label for something that you don't usually eat that could be the culprit.
We use our microwave to heat up our oatmeal Hubby preps for 4-5 days at the time and I cook peas, corn : NO problem ever.
Gerri's comment is worth investigating , it being the ingredients in the item you are microwaving !
Yes, I agree with Gerri too. We heat/cook up a lot of food on the microwave. No problems so far. But some ready-to-eat microwable stuffs have chemicals like, sodium, flavorings, food colorings and preservatives that may not be agreeing with you. Indeed check the label for ingredients.
