Do you like it? Dislike it? Will it annoy people if I post these in all the categories? Maybe I should recuse myself from the categories that I don't post in? Which ones are those though? It seems like "general" would be a good place. Perhaps I should make the poll secret though? If you want to message me, feel free to do so.

If my email blows up, well, that's a risk I can run as I'm off last week and have minimal projects on my forecast. I'll run the poll maybe through Friday (1/2 day) and then see where we're at?

If you need to be "friends" to message me, the more the merrier.

No, we have been asking that as a new feature for Ning.. maybe in the future.

With regards to the main page of the forum, we are going back to the old format of displaying the discussions. Remember, this is only a change that affects the display of the information, the discussions would still be under the same categories.

Let us know now if you strongly feel we should keep the new format, since until now we hear most people like the old format better.

Even an option to do an "all categories mixed up in to a single list" would be great. I like that way of seeing what is going on in all the different groups. Some of the groups don't seem to have a lot of action.

And, to clarify, I don't like the "categories" at all. To me, it dilutes the "community" aspect of the community.

I think it would be nice to change the ordering of the comments on the blogs. if I'm interested in a blog, I want to read the comments from the top down, with the latest comment on the bottom.

Are you going to keep the "Forum" page with its new format, and just take the Home page back? I really like the new Forum page. and thanks for bringing back the member's pictures on the Home page. sometimes I see someone there I haven't seen in a while, and I click on their picture just to see what's up with them.

Well, I am not sure about the forum... a lot of people prefer the old format. It is a quick change.

Maybe we can open a real poll...

I am going to go ahead and change the the order on the comments in blogs! Cheers!!!

It's not format-related, but I should add that I really like the new color scheme on the home page. It doesn't have the 70s-esque orange that used to be there, yet it's subtle enough to contrast with the blue emphasis used during the month of November.

Great! Thank you, I'll keep that in mind for the visual redesign coming on January! :)

Post on Blogs are now displayed just as the discussions. Oldest on the top, newest on the bottom!

Cheers!

A useful change. Cheers!

Still don't like it, this time from a cruise ship in St. Kitts. Having TuD withdrawal too!

I wanted to give the new style w/ the categories a try for a longer period of time but I still don't like it. While it's a holiday, I feel like there's less traffic or that I'm missing something. One list organizes our conversations better.
