TuDiabetes for me is all about the hands we see frequently on the site. Reaching out and touching each other, offering a hand for support, developing friendships.

The Annual Campaign has a goal of $20,000 by December 31 to support TuDiabetes and the programs like videochats, Big Blue Test, diabetes art, poetry....

We can reach this goal if we all reach out. I'll be posting a sample FB post and a sample tweet here every few days. Please share them, or post one of your own.

Thanks my friends!

Let's not let this happen any more!

thanks pup for the sample tweets. btw, today is #givingTuesday - please add this hashtag to your tweets if you can

8:07 PM Pacific Time. Umpteenth attempt of the day to donate through many different links. This time through Manny's link in this thread (other times thru FB and homepage here). Again. Cannot get past review click--heading comes up "everything look okay?" or somesuch, but page is a brown/green blur of nothing and there is no way to say simply, submit.....

8:16PM.....Just went to DHF thru my standard bookmark. All my info is there still. There has never been any submit to click, but neither has there been any delete. So if this is fraud, I'll see you in bankrupcy court. SOMEBODY HELP. Now I'm scared

All better ;) Manny can fix anything LOL. Thanks for persisting Judith! Was it a browser issue?

10:41 AM, after 6 more tries from several different links. It is NOT fixed for me. I'll send a check.

I closed that window to post the above. And here's what is freaking me out: I clicked on donate now once more, got a new window and my info was still there after I had deleted each box. I'm going to try that once more. If my info has re-appeared, well, I don't know what to do. BTW, I also deleted it all, one box at a time, to come write this note. At no time, last night or now, has the donate page given me the option to submit.

10:56 AM......Okay. I deleted my bookmark and googled DHF to get a fresh link, clicked on donate and at least my info had not reappeared. Don't want to risk starting the whole process over again, so will mail a check!

All I can say is... OY!!

I know. It's a variation on The Cosmic Crack down which bobby pins, etc go. 8:47PM. Just for The Halibut, tried all clicks to donate page on TuD home Page and in various forums like here. Not a one worked cleanly. Under the "Thank You For Your Support" box in the right hand column was one of those bluish boxes from my computer (browser? I don't know)that said the connection couldn't be completed. But the whole rest of the page was there.

I'm trying to think how to write out that old Twilight Zone theme music!......Maybe it is connected to my little old kitty Meese sitting on my keyboard, though it has been several days since we thought we had resolved those issues! Oy and Sigh, Indeed!......Anyway. "The check is in the mail", as they say (well, and as I have said on more than a few occasions!).

Judith, you rock ;)

Let's get more checks in the mail!!

oh , darn Judith !! I had some difficulty with our CAN. postal code, which is very different from your USA one . I can't recall what I did to make it work ?? ..but have recently seen a link for Canadian and other users . The old fashioned way : a check in the mail !! ...hope that opportunity will stay a bit longer with us ...who knows

It's here to stay ;)
