I don't have a Twitter account and I don't Tweet. How do I get rid of the annoying green "Tweet" box that has suddenly appeared on the left side of my screen?

Thanks,

Terry

Okay - why am I not seeing this little "green" Tweeter box on my left hand side of the screen like you are all seeing??? Maybe I need to get my eyes checked????

The only Twitter-thing I have on my screen is a banner among several others over on the right. There's one for facebook there too but none are obtrusive. Ask Manny.

mine just went away...

Hehe, I agree .. that was a surprising, if almost funny, annoyance (even though I do the Twitter thing)... As I write this, it appears that it may have gone away?

Well, it's gone.

It was either an anomaly or someone responded to my whining.

Whichever it was, thank you, whomever.

Where did the twitter box go? I want it back.

For all the "twitter is useless" folks. Read this: http://www.doshdosh.com/ways-you-can-use-twitter/

Some people just don't like noisy cocktail parties.

That's why some people don't go to noisy cocktail parties. Why bring the party to them if they don't want to be there?

Twitter is useless for me. If a Twitter counter is useful for you, God bless you, but I should have the option to turn it off instead of having it in my way, don't you think? It's no better than a pop-up ad if I'm not using it.

I can still see mine... but I guess it doesn't really bother me.

I do use Twitter and I am not seeing any green box (or any other colour of box) on the left-hand side of my screen. I use Twitterfox to get my Twitter feed, and that has a little box on the lower right-hand corner of my screen, but I don't think anyone who doesn't use Twitter would be using Twitterfox.
