I posted a comment on a Blog post requiring approval (ok, Danny's...) and notice that I'm receiving notifications, quoting other comments, that dont seem to have been "approved" either? Either I wasn't approved, and am not allowed to see subsequent comments or perhaps the "notify" needs to be set to hold off the notification pending approval? Were some sort of "flamewar" to break out (that doesn't appear to be likely in that particular thread...), this could perhaps somehow be played to some sort of tactical advantage, pwnage, "all your base are belong to us but we know about it first because we were notified despite your puny lack of approval"

I look @ email first and saw all the other notes so I clicked on one of them to go to it "directly", instead of going to Tu and "blogs" and saw that there were still only the posts that had preceded mine, so then I *had* to go read the "secret" posts out of my email box, just because I could?

<------- ***total nutjob****?

What happens is that anyone who has commented on a blog automatically gets notification of new posts before the OP has approved them, when the blog requires approval prior to it showing up. Does this answer your question?

Oy.
